NEDIA MATUSSE, Postdoctoral fellow (MOZ)

Nedia’s PhD project was devoted to studying the world distribution of genus Polyprion with enphasis on P. americanus, a strong candidate species in aquaculture. Her studies were coordinated by IEO and UVI and highlight the choices at hand to minimize inbreeding when breeding captive wreckfish stocks. As postdoctoral, she is undertaken the aquaculture development of candidate species in Mozambique.
