Through this project, it is intended to generate scientific vocations in girls and boys and promote their creativity, their ability to make decisions and their equal treatment against gender inequalities. Due to the importance of this project, our PhD student María Fernández-Míguez decided to be involved and write a post about her academic career. In her post you can know more about her research fields and advices for young students. http://oceanicas.ieo.es/maria-fernandez-miguez-y-los-avances-en-acuicultura/ This project was founded by members of The Spanish Oceanographic Institute and supported by Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (FECYT).
